American Graduate Champion: Ann Kreicker

Posted by Kaylie Ricks on

Congrats to Ann Kreicker on being nominated as an American Graduate Champion!

Ann works at George Washington Community HIgh School in IPS but does so much more than her job description to make sure that students at GWCHS not only graduate from high school but also transition to college. She has personally driven students who needed transportation to keep college appointments. She has come with them to Ivy Tech when there is an issue to help the student understand what they need to do. She has organized college tours which last far beyond her assigned work time. She has advocated for students with disabilities through a variety of situations, for example getting a seeing eye dog for a particular student with a severe vision problem. Ann does so much for young people to help them be successful in their lives, and that is why she is an American Graduate Champion.
