Accountability is at the heart of education reform. The issue has drawn much attention as significant changes are considered for rewriting the federal No Child Left Behind Act and implementing teacher evaluations and school grades in Indiana. This event will:

  • Feature Colorado State Senator, Michael Johnston, architect of Colorado's groundbreaking "Great Teachers and Leaders Law" (SB 190). The Senator was names 2010's "Seven Most Influential Educators" by Forbes Magazine.
  • Include a panel discussion moderated by Matt Tully, columnist with The Indianapolis Star and author of Searching for Hope: Life at a Failing School in the Heart of America.
